The exhibition is presenting about fifty paintings depict mainly landscapes and monasteries of the Mount Athos. The artist presents his work using a combination of painting, constructions and music. This complex presentation allows to the visitor to transfer himself mentally and emotionally to Mount Athos and feel the atmosphere of this ancient monastic community, this Holy shrine of Orthodoxy.

In the first room the public can see a three-dimensional construction in which the artist placed copies from the katholikon of the Stauronikita Monastery. In the last room another construction under the title “The room of the monks” is presenting in artistic way the mysterious atmosphere of the monastic life.

The exhibition lies under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Tourism while its realization made by the Vergina Experimental Workshop in cooperation with the “ART MUSEUM” of Austria.
