PRESS RELEASE – Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Greece
The Byzantine and Christian Museum and the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Greece present the exhibition “Mount Athos through Sketches and Photographs”, a unique artistic and photographic tribute to Mount Athos, featuring the work of painter Andrey Yanev and professor Miroslav Dachev.
The exhibition will be held from November 20 to December 4, 2025, at the Byzantine and Christian Museum (22 Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, Athens).
Opening hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Sunday (closed on Tuesdays). Admission is free.
The works are the result of more than 50 expeditions to Mount Athos over two decades, capturing not only the visual appearance but also the spiritual essence of the place. Through sketches and photographs, the creators invite us to a personal, introspective experience of Athos.
